When the Plymouth City Council met for their final meeting of the month in November, Clerk-Treasurer Jeannine Xaver highlighted a change at the state level.
She mentioned, “The State is changing some the recording requirements for this year for the annual financial report so that we have to depreciate all of our capital assets which we’ve only done in the past for water and sewer.”
She went on to present the council with two quotes. One totaled $4,750 and the other came in at $7,500. She said the lower quote was from Peterson Consulting and recommended going with that firm.
The council supported that recommendation with a unanimous vote.
