An equipment purchase was recently approved by the Argos Town Council.
According to draft minutes from their most recent meeting, after some discussion, the council members voted to allow Superintendent Jamie Lindstrom to buy a loader and excavator at a cost $112,000. That amount also included the price of a trailer to haul the equipment.
In addition to that, members considered an interlocal agreement related to the Regional Stellar Communities Designation Program.
The draft minutes from the meeting also note that County Council member Mandy Campbell discussed the agreement and members voted unanimously to approve it.
Other municipalities involved in the Marshall County Crossroad’s Regional Stellar Communities initiative also provided approval for this document.
