Plymouth High School’s $2 million HVAC project is underway. Superintendent Andy Hartley gave an update to the school board last week. “If you were to walk through some of the parts, you’d see some ceiling tiles popped out, as they start working on lines there,” he said.
He said a lot of work will be done over fall break, and then the replacement of the unit ventilators will begin. The horizontal ventilator units in the various rooms will be replaced by vertical models with duct work through the ceiling to more evenly distribute the air. The project also includes the replacement of the building’s chiller.
Work is supposed to wrap up in the spring.
