Shortly after midnight on Saturday, October 5th Marshall County Police responded to a report of a white box truck traveling all over the roadway in the northbound lanes of US 31 in the area of 9A Road.
Officer Blake Bennett located the vehicle on US 31 near Veteran’s Parkway and conducted a traffic stop.
The driver was identified as 30-year-old Jon A Ziolkowski, of South Bend. Drugs, including marijuana and an unknown substance along with drug paraphernalia, were reportedly located in the vehicle.
The suspect was found to be under the influence of drugs and was taken to Plymouth Hospital for a certified test.
Following the certified chemical test, he was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person, Possession of Marijuana, and Operating a Vehicle Without Ever Receiving a License
