A twenty-two year veteran of the Indiana State Police who was a graduate from Plymouth High School will be taking on some new responsibilities at the ISP Bremen Post.
ISP Superintendent Douglas Carter recently announced the reclassification of Master Trooper Jason Faulstich to the position of detective. Officials report that he will serve in the Intelligence, Cyber Crime and Investigative Technologies Section.
Detective Faulstich reportedly earned this new assignment through the completion of written testing and a competitive interview process.
As stated above, Faulstich was a PHS student and later attended Indiana State University where he earned a degree in Criminology. He graduated from the Indiana State Police Academy in December of 1996 and was assigned to the ISP Bremen Post.
While working with ISP for over two decades, Faulstich has served as a field training officer and the Meth Team and All Crimes Policing Team. He is also a first aid instructor and is trained as a Digital Media Recovery Specialist.
He resides in Marshall County with his wife and two children.
