Habitat for Humanity of Marshall County will hold a groundbreaking ceremony this weekend for the 22nd family home to be built in the county.
Members of the public are invited to attend the ceremony which will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 6th.
The site is located at Pearl and Clark Streets in Plymouth.
Volunteers will be working alongside the homeowner, Heather Haines, with a projected completion date of early spring. This will be the first home constructed on the recently acquired property on Pearl and Clark Streets. Officials shared that the plan is to build two more homes on this site.
Habitat for Humanity builds homes for families who have a housing need in addition to a willingness to help build their home and the ability to make an affordable monthly mortgage payment.
