TGIF Argos has wrapped up for the year and organizers recently came before the Town Council to discuss the events.
Val Harley and Jane Hall came before officials to thank them for their help with the downtown events that were held on the second Friday of each month between June and September.
The council was asked if they would be supportive of holding the events again in 2020. A motion to that effect was made and passed with unanimous approval.
In addition to discussing TGIF Argos, Hall, who serves as Director of the Argos Public Library, shared details about a Christmas tree lighting ceremony planned for December.
She noted that it will take place at the Library on Tuesday, December 3rd. More details about that event will be shared in the future.
