Two Arrested Sunday after Plymouth Police were Called to Wal-Mart for Suspicious Activity

The Plymouth Police Department was recently called to the Wal-Mart on Oak Drive on Sunday for a report of suspicious activity.

According to a PPD news release, units were dispatched to the store around 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, September 1st. Units made contact with the subjects in question; 42-year-old Richard A Rader Jr. and 38-year-old Crystal D. Prince, both of Mishawaka.

An investigation was conducted and led to the discovery of suspected methamphetamine, controlled substances, and paraphernalia in Prince’s possession and inside the vehicle that the subjects had driven to the store.

Plymouth K9 Castor also alerted to the odor of narcotics in the vehicle during the investigation, according to the report.

Both individuals were transported to the Marshall County Jail where they were each lodged with the charge of possession of methamphetamine. Prince faces an additional charge of possession of a controlled substance while Rader received an additional charge of possession of paraphernalia.
