The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will open bids for the 2019 street and sidewalk fall projects when they meet tonight at 6 p.m.
Board members will also hear updates from department representatives and consider three requests.
One will be regarding a sidewalk on South Michigan Street and another is related to a pothole in a public parking lot at West Laporte and Center Streets. A request related to entertainment for Latino Festival will also be provided.
City Attorney Sean Surrisi is expected to provide an update about the property at 881 Broadway Street and present an executive order regarding 1210 N. Walnut Street.
The Plymouth City Council members are expected to meet immediately after the BOW meeting concludes. The council will hold a pre-adoption hearing for the 2020 budget at the start of their meeting.
Any unfinished business will be addressed following the hearing and then members will move on to new business.
A few different contributions to the City Monetary Gift Fund that will be up for approval and an ordinance related to mileage and meals for city employees and officials and the 2020 budget ordinance will both be presented on first reading.
Council members will also be asked to consider a resolution confirming support for the Marshall County Crossroads Stellar Initiative, a proposal that would amend the subdivision control ordinance for the City of Plymouth and a resolution related to a transfer of appropriations in the Aviation Department Fund.
Both meetings will be held in the Council Chambers, located on the second floor of the Plymouth City Building. Those planning to attend are asked to utilize the Garro Street entrance.
