On behalf of the Plymouth Police Department, officials from Marshall County Central Dispatch have released an announcement.
In response to the recent rumors of threats being made about the Blueberry Festival, authorities shared that no threats have been called into dispatch.
They noted that there was a rumor that started earlier last week and it was fully investigated, all the way back to the source of the rumor, and it was found to be untrue.
Dispatch officials also mentioned that precautions are taken each year to keep the Festival safe.
Authorities added that as for the posts you may be seeing on people’s Facebook pages, they are not true. No credible threat has been relayed to Dispatch at this time.
