The John Glenn School Board approved the corporation’s Teacher Appreciation Grant policy for this school year when members met Tuesday night.
According to Recording Secretary Lisa Sleek, the State Board of Education requires all schools to approve this policy on an annual basis.
The school board members opted to keep the policy the same as it was last year. Sleek said that means there will be a minimum differential of 25 percent between teachers that are rated highly effective and those that are rated effective.
