A Bremen man was reportedly found to be almost four times over the legal limit for alcohol consumption following a Friday night traffic stop near La Paz.
According to authorities, around 11:55 p.m. Marshall County dispatch received a call regarding a possible impaired or unsafe driver all over the roadway on U.S. 30. The vehicle was followed by the caller onto U.S. 31 northbound from U.S. 30.
An officer with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop.
The driver, who was identified as 27-year-old Brandon Richard Noe, was offered the opportunity to do a standardized field sobriety testing. He was then transported to Plymouth Hospital for a chemical test where he was found to be almost four times the legal limit.
Noe was later transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked and lodged for Operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated at .15 percent or higher and OWI-Endangerment. He was given a bond of $1,500 and a court date.
