Every year, Argos students are able to help raise some money for various clubs and activities by providing parking assistance during the annual Summer Kickoff Festival.
Superintendent Ned Speicher said that the money received from that fundraiser was formally accepted by the school board when members met on Monday.
He explained, “Kids work, adults pay to park their cars and it makes a great fundraiser so kids helping out with parking during the summer festival earned $2,122.”
Superintendent Speicher said in addition to accepting the donation during the meeting, school officials also took time to thank the students who volunteered their time.
