The National Weather Service of Northwest Indiana has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Marshall County, noting that scattered thunderstorms are expected to continue into the early evening.
Officials say storms may become strong to severe, capable of producing gusty winds, hail and locally heavy rainfall.
As a result of the anticipated rainfall, low-lying areas and places with poor drainage could see an accumulation of water. Motorists are asked to use caution while traveling in the rain or on wet roadways.
In the coming days, thunderstorms are possible Monday through Wednesday, with the possibility of gusty winds and heavy rainfall persisting.
