The Argos Community School Corporation’s drainage project was concluded prior to the start of the school year, according to Superintendent Ned Speicher.
Speicher said the school board saw some pictures and received an update about the completion of the project when members met on Monday.
As a reminder, this project was tackled to address drainage issues that were resulting in water running onto the playground and leaking into one of the classrooms and a gymnasium.
Superintendent Speicher previously shared that a lot of the existing drains had either collapsed due to age or they just weren’t working anymore. He noted that school officials coordinated with the Town Utility Department for this maintenance project.
