Officials are currently working together to come up with a plan for moving forward with the old gym at the Triton School Corporation.
According to information provided by Superintendent Jeremy Riffle, the driving forces behind the effort are Dana Wanamacker, Todd Zeiger, Tim Shelly, and Bruce Gephart.
In addition to figuring out how to best work with the community during this process, they have been collaborating to develop a plan and create a timeline for Requests for Proposals (RFP).
Currently, a community meeting that will be held in the old gym is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, August 14th at 6 p.m. Riffle noted that this date was only chosen because there are no other events on the calendar at this time.
During the meeting, a presentation will be provided and the community will have a chance to ask any questions they may have. The timeline for the RFP will also be shown at that time.
