Bremen Public Library to Hold Community Forum over Proposed Renovation Project

Officials at the Bremen Public Library want to hear from community members as they start the planning process for some proposed renovations.

A community forum will be held in the library’s lower level meeting room from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, July 11th.

The Library staff and board members have been working with the Architecture firm Arkos and have secured some blueprints and designs for the proposed multi-phase renovation project.

According to Library Director Chris Scandling, the project could involve remodeling the existing structure and a potential expansion.

He said during the month of June, designs were on display so those who frequent the library would have a chance to familiarize themselves with the plans.

As they plan for the future, library officials want to know how to best serve Bremen’s readers so everyone is invited to attend Thursday’s meeting to share their opinions and offer input about the designs.

Check out the pictures below to get a sneak peek the designs prior to tomorrow evening.

The designs were obtained from the Bremen Public Library Community Forum event page.
