Nonprofit organizations have two weeks to apply for the fall round of Marshall County Community Foundation grants. Applications for Community Fund grants are due by Thursday, August 1 at 4:30 p.m.
To be eligible, the community foundation says funding requests should be to help start new programs, expand needed programs, or support one-time projects. Specifically, the foundation is looking to provide funding for pressing, emergent needs or innovative programs in Marshall County. As part of the application process, the foundation’s Grants Committee will evaluate the proposals and conduct site visits.
In addition to the Community Fund, the foundation says there are a number of unrestricted funds that also support emerging needs. The Marshall County Community Foundation says it awards more than $223,000 a year in unrestricted fund grants.
The grant application can be found on the foundation’s website, MarshallCountyCF.org.
