Marshall County Highway Department crews will start work on a culvert replacement at the intersection of 5B and King Road around 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28th.
Highway Superintendent Jason Peters shared that King Road from 4B to 5B will be closed from Tuesday, May 28th through Wednesday, May 29th.
Peters said that while the work is being completed 5B will be open at the intersection to allow drivers to travel west on the south side. Meanwhile, traffic from the north will need to use 4B Road for the detour.
Peters asks motorists to avoid the area s much as possible and added that they hope to have this section of road re-opened by the end of the day on Wednesday.
He extended his gratitude to community members for their patience during this process.
