Indiana State Police are investigating, after the body of a Bourbon man was found in the Tippecanoe River. Indiana Conservation Officers reportedly found the body around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of state roads 10 and 19 in Kosciusko County.
State Police say the Kosciusko County Coroner has since identified the man as Thomas Schmeltz, 65, and determined the preliminary cause of death to be drowning.
