Argos School Board members heard the results of a drainage study when they met Monday night.
According to Superintendent Ned Speicher, no official actions were taken but discussions were held about some of the existing problems.
He explained, “We’re having some drainage issues in our elementary playground and we had some engineers from Kramer Associates do a drainage study.”
Speicher continued, “We ran cameras down our drain lines and found out we have some collapsed pipes so it will probably be some replacing of some drainage tiles this summer.”
Superintendent Speicher said even though this project is seen as a priority, officials are waiting until the summer to address it because they don’t want to start while school is in session and children are still regularly using the playground area.
