Bourbon Town Council Considers Ordinances Pertaining to Junk Vehicles and Unsafe Structures

Bourbon Town Council members considered two updated ordinances on first reading when they met this week.

One ordinance that was considered pertained to junk vehicles. Clerk-Treasurer Kim Berger said that the junk vehicle ordinance is being updated to provide some clarification about time frames and some other stipulations.

The other ordinance which came before the council members addresses unsafe building policies. Clerk-Treasurer Berger said this one was amended to be more inline with County requirements.

Members voted unanimously to pass both the ordinances on first reading. Those documents will come back before the Town Council members for further consideration at their next meeting on Tuesday, May 14^th.
