An update over the Bremen Public Schools insurance renewal process was provided to school board members when they met last week.
Superintendent Dr. Jim White said school officials work with a local insurance vendor and he’s been coordinating with the broker recently about where they’re at in the renewal process.
Dr. White explained, “He’s going to prepare us some specifications and have them available sometime in April which is around 120 days out from our renewal deadline.”
No official actions had to be taken during last Wednesday’s school board meeting but the topic of insurance renewal will be revisited in the future when solid figures and plans come in.
