A total of $3,600 was recently donated to Bremen Public Schools for various purposes. School Board members unanimously accepted the monetary contributions at their meeting Wednesday night.
School board members approved three donations that were earmarked for the Bremen High School Softball Team. The Family Hearing Center donated $100, Richard and Linda Coffel contributed $300 and CB Custom Painting provided a $2,200 donation.
Superintendent Dr. Jim White said those funds will be used to place a decorative windscreen on the outfield fence at the Varsity Softball Diamond.
Additionally, a $1,000 donation from James and Sally Keeling came before the board for approval. Those funds will be donated to the food service department in order to assist students with overdue lunch account balances.
