Bourbon Town Council members were advised that spring leaf pick-up will start in the second week of April when they met Tuesday evening.
During his department report, Street Superintendent Roger Terry informed the council members that the pick-up will start on Monday, April 8th and run through Tuesday, April 19th.
In addition to providing the members with that update, Superintendent Terry was also seeking authorization to purchase some equipment. He asked to spend about $3,730.64 to purchase Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunication or “DECT” headsets from Eco Infrastructure Solutions.
Another quote from Eco Infrastructure also came before the council for consideration. However, the second one was submitted by Water and Wastewater Superintendent Steve Stacy. According to notes from Clerk-Treasurer Kim Berger, Stacy was seeking permission to purchase 2 router heads for the Vactor Truck for an approximate cost of $1,460.
The quotes submitted by Superintendent Terry and Superintendent Stacy were both approved unanimously.
