A request to utilize the parking lots at the Argos Community School Corporation for the town’s Summer Kick-Off Festival came before school board members Monday night.
Superintendent Ned Speicher said members voted to allow the usage.
He shared, “That’s an every year thing. It’s a festival by the town and they use our school parking lots during the time and that’s just something we do for the community.
Superintendent Speicher noted that while school officials always allow the parking lots to be used for the festival, it still has to be cleared with the board annually for insurance purposes.
The Argos Summer Kick-Off Festival will be held on Friday, June 21st and Saturday, June 22nd. You can find out more about this year’s event by visiting ArgosFestival.com.
