The annual Phone-A-Thon fundraiser hosted by Bremen Dollar for Scholars is happening tonight.
School officials recently shared that approximately 50 volunteers will be calling around the community from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. tonight in order to raise funds for local scholarships.
The volunteers, comprised of mostly Bremen High School Students, will be treated to pizza for their efforts this evening. Participating students will also have a chance to win a $150 scholarship by raising the highest pledge amount.
All donations received during the Phon-a-Thon will fund scholarships that will be awarded to students in the graduating class of 2019. Last year, the organization was able to award more than 50 scholarships totaling $68,450.
