The Marshall County Dispatch Center is advising of a potentially hazardous road condition in the area of Union Road and Lincoln Highway.
Authorities report that a nearby resident was pumping water out of a flooded basement and it resulted in some water pooling on that stretch of road. The resident has been told to quit pumping water out to keep the situation from worsening.
The road has since been treated by County Highway crews but there is still a chance the spot remains slick and icy. Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the area.
