According to Clerk-Treasurer Kim Berger, the Main Street Initiative Group is seeking a grant through the Marshall County Community Foundation. However, since they aren’t currently classified as a 501(c) charitable organization, they needed to find a pass-through entity that can hold onto the money, if they’re awarded the grant.

Town Attorney Anthony Wagoner said to make it official, a resolution will need to be passed. He said that is being drawn up and will be presented to council members for their approval at the council’s next meeting in March.
