A Knox man and Walkerton woman who were arrested in January for their alleged involvement in a drug and gun bust in Grovertown were arrested again on Friday following a reported theft incident in Plymouth.
Shortly after 9:45 p.m. on February 1st, a Plymouth Police officer responded to a report of a theft in progress at Walmart. After conducting an investigation at the scene, 38-year-old Aimee Swanson of Walkerton and 37-year-old David Howard of Knox were reportedly arrested for theft.
Both individuals were incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail.
As a reminder, both Swanson and Howard were reportedly arrested on Thursday, January 17th after they were apparently found in a Grovertown home belonging to Chester King where a warrant search resulted in the discovery of a number of illegal items.
While searching the premises, officers from the Under Cover Narcotics Investigation Team, Starke County SWAT and Marshall County Sheriff’s Department reportedly found a SKS semi-automatic rifle, a 22 rifle, 16 g shotgun, 9 mm semi-automatic rifle and a 38 caliber pistol.
Authorities say that the search also turned up several controlled substance pills, four grams of marijuana, .75 grams of heroin, with a street value of $150 and 19.25 grams of Methamphetamine, with a street value of $1,900.
At that time, both Swanson and Howard were facing preliminary charges of visiting a common nuisance, possession of a narcotic drug, possession of paraphernalia and dealing and possession of methamphetamine over 10 grams. Swanson apparently faced additional preliminary charges of possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance
