A High Wind Warning will be in effect from 5:00 a.m. EST Sunday to 1:00 a.m. Monday. The National Weather Service predicts that sustained west winds of 35 to 40 miles per hour will start early Sunday morning and continue into the evening, with gusts of up to 65 miles per hour Sunday morning.
That means the potential for downed trees, power outages, and minor structural damage. Unsecured outdoor objects could be blown around, and driving in high-profile vehicles could become hazardous, especially on north-south roads.
