Triton Superintendent Jeremy Riffle took some time during this week’s school board meeting to recognize the altruistic efforts of a group of students and staff members.
Special Education Teacher Sarrah Davis was joined by a multitude of other staff members as well as students when she led a “Duffles for Kids” packing event earlier this month.
Superintendent Riffle said that during the event, students packed duffle bags full of goodies for every child in foster care in Marshall County. He added that the adults were present to simply guide and provide encouragement at the students took on this charitable project.
Riffle noted that Davis is hoping to be able to extend this program next year to assist foster kids in Kosciusko County as well.
