A Plymouth woman was taken to jail, after a report of shots fired near Donaldson early Saturday morning. Around 3:20 a.m., Marshall County Police say they got a call about gun shots fired and suspicious activity in the area of Union Road and 8th Road. A little later, the caller said the vehicle had left, but then called back saying the vehicle had returned and was now driving by slowly using a spotlight on a group of deer in a field.
An officer caught up to the vehicle and pulled it over. During the traffic stop, police say they discovered that Kyra Kay Hite, 23, had marijuana and a handgun without a permit. She’s also accused of criminal recklessness and false informing.
