The Plymouth School Board last week approved an agreement with Indiana University’s Center on Education and Lifelong Learning (CELL). Under the agreement, CELL will get almost $31,000, but Superintendent Andy Harley said that will be covered by grant funding.
“With Plymouth High School as a comprehensive school improvement status, we did receive a planning grant from the Department of Education to be able to contract with a third party for support through that process,” he explained. “This CELL out of Indiana University was the most responsive contracted service provider to meet our needs.”
Also during last week’s meeting, board members passed a resolution to let the corporation treasurer pre-write checks for expenses that are due before the board meets in January and transfer funds to balance out accounts before the end of the year.
