Five people were hurt in a crash last week at 4th Road and Plymouth-Goshen Trail. Marshall County Police say it happened Wednesday afternoon around 4:15. Officers believe Richard Grounds II, 30, of Bremen, was driving a 2005 Chevy Tahoe east on 4th Road, when he drove into the path of a 2007 Nissan Sentra that was heading south on Plymouth-Goshen Trail.
Grounds and the driver of the Nissan, Carlos Nieves, 41, of Bremen, were both taken to the hospital for treatment. Three children in Grounds’s vehicle were treated at the scene for minor injuries, according to police.
Bremen Police, Fire, and EMS, as well as the Indiana State Police, assisted the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department at the scene.
