With the assistance of other law enforcement agencies, the Under Cover Narcotics Investigation Team (UNIT) has made multiple arrests over the last few weeks.
Authorities report that on Thursday, October 25th UNIT officers were assisted by Indiana State Police Troopers as well as Plymouth and Marshall County Police officers with locating and arresting Trudi Atkins in the 10,000 block of Muckshaw Road.
Atkins was arrested for multiple outstanding warrants for dealing methamphetamine. Police note that she also had an active warrant out of Starke County. Atkins is currently lodged at the Marshall County Jail with a $75,000 cash bond.
Additionally, on Wednesday, October 31st UNIT officers arrested David Rearick and Adam Shidler after officers observed what they believed to be a narcotics deal near Culver. They were assisted by Marshall County and Culver Police officers. Rearick and Shidler are both being held without bond at the Marshall County Jail.
