Marshall County Police responded to an overturned semi on U.S. 30 near Bourbon Wednesday morning. Officers say it happened just before 2:00 a.m. near Elm Road.
The semi driver told police he was trying to avoid a collision with a small pickup truck that was trying to pass him but began moving into his lane. The semi driver said he traveled off the north side of U.S. 30 and tried to get back onto the roadway, causing the truck to swerve and roll onto its side.
