An updated employee handbook was up for approval at Wednesday night’s Argos Town Council meeting. Clerk-Treasurer Lisa Mullaney noted that much of the book remained the same but a firm was hired to ensure that new state and federal regulations would be accounted for.
Mullaney said that representatives from New Focus HR were brought in to review the old handbook and recommend changes. Town officials incorporated the suggestions into the new employee handbook. It was adopted with unanimous approval Wednesday night.
