Marshall County Highway Supervisor Jason Peters issued an update about a few different projects that crews have been working on recently.
He explained that two different Highway Department units were out brush trimming in various spots along roadsides throughout the county on Thursday. Peters also mentioned that highway department crews completed shoulder work on 3rd, Nutmeg and Oak Roads where paving was done earlier this summer.
In his update, Peters said crews would be starting shoulder work on 6A Road, west off of Michigan Street to Oak Road as well as Oak to 6th and 6th to Plymouth-LaPorte Trail.
He said motorists should expect construction work and road closures. If drivers can, they should try to avoid these areas.
