Argos School Board members approved the Go Solutions Contract for 2019 when they met last Monday. Superintendent Ned Speicher explained that the contract will help the school corporation secure specific funding to help pay for special education services.
Speicher explained, “Every school district is in a special education cooperative with other districts and so all the districts in the cooperative need to approve those contracts so we can get Medicaid reimbursement for services to handicapped children.”
Argos is a part of the inter-local cooperative entitled JESSE which stands for Joint Educational Services in Special Education.
It is comprised of multiple school corporations in both Marshall and Starke Counties, including Culver, John Glen, Knox, North Judson-San Pierre, Oregon-Davis, Plymouth, Triton and Union- North.
