The “American Pickers” will be making their way through Indiana next month and they’re searching for stops to include on their route!
Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, the “pickers” behind the History Channel series, travel across the country on a mission to find vintage and antique items in order rescue and recycle these forgotten relics. The pair aims to give historically significant objects a new lease on life while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way.
The show likes to focus on unique and sizable collections with interesting stories behind them and the “pickers” are always looking to discover something they’ve never seen before. If you’re a spirited story-teller and qualify as a “character”, then you’re even more likely to pique their interest.
Show representatives note that Mike and Frank only pick from private collections so no stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions, businesses or any sites open to the public are eligible for the program.
However, if you or someone you know has a large, private collection or an accumulation of antiques that the “pickers” can spend the better part of the day looking through, send your name, phone number, location and description of the collection with photos to americanpickers@cineflix.com or call 855-OLD-RUST.
