Though the official Average Daily Membership (ADM) numbers have yet to be released from the State, school officials at Argos are reporting a noticeable increase.
Superintendent Ned Speicher reports that state officials came to take the ADM count on Friday, September 14th.
He said the state is currently working to clear up any inconsistencies with multiple districts claiming the same students and any other factors that would impact accurate results. Speicher said the certified numbers will be finalized over the next few weeks and then released this fall.
Speicher noted even though they don’t have the official numbers just yet, based on preliminary data that the school has access to, they’re estimating there are about 15 to 20 more students attending Argos schools this year.
He added that school officials are very excited to see an increase in enrollment for the second year in a row, especially since the ADM is one of the things that determines school funding.
