If you’re looking for something fun to do with your four-legged friend today, the Marshall County Humane Society’s Dash and Splash Fundraiser is for you.
Pet owners are encouraged to bring their dogs to the Culver and Union Township Park for this special event which will combine hiking the trails to Culver Academy and some cooldown time at the beach.
Event organizers said dogs will have a chance to “rescue” rubber ducks from the water in order to win prizes.
Participants are asked to provide a $25 donation. Registration will start at 8:30 a.m. EST and the walk will begin at 9 a.m. The first 50 individuals to register will get a free T-Shirt. The event will wrap up around 11 a.m.
