Triton School officials are still waiting to see progress on a sidewalk repair and pipe replacement project that was awarded a bid in May.
Triton School Board members approved a quote of $6,993.81 from Kent’s Excavating and Plumbing to complete renovations to a strip of sidewalk in front of the High School and to repair the faulty pipes beneath the surface.
Officials scheduled the work to be started during summer break but Superintendent Jeremy Riffle reports that crews have yet to visit the site.
He explained, “That is scheduled to be completed before registration but they have not shown up yet so we’re still little concerned that may not end up happening but that is scheduled to be completed by July 30th.”
As previously reported, Triton registration will be held at the school buildings from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, July 30th and from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31st. Online registration will start on Wednesday, July 25th.
