Donations made to Marshall County’s flood relief efforts will get a dollar-for-dollar match from the Marshall County Community Foundation. It will match up to $135,000 in private sector 2018 flood relief donations to the United Way of Marshall County. That includes donations already made since February’s flood. Donations can be made online at MarshallCountyUW.org.
Additionally, the community foundation says it will give special consideration to flood recovery efforts, during the fall round of Community Fund grants. The foundation’s Grants Committee plans to prioritize proposals specifically designed to help flood-affected families and communities. However, they also hope to fund other projects and programs, as well.
Grant applications are now available at marshallcountycf.org. They’re due by August 1.
