A business luncheon will be held in the Town of Bourbon later this month, following a decision made by town council members last week.
According to draft minutes from last Tuesday’s meeting, Council President Les McFarland discussed a business luncheon that is scheduled for 11 a.m. EST on Thursday, July 26th. He noted that it will be held in town at the Matchett Center located at 805 North Harris Street.
At the meeting, members unanimously approved a motion to hold the event utilizing local catering.
While promoting the event on social media, President McFarland shared that various topics will be addressed, including the US 30 Coalition and high-speed internet as well as other business discussions.
When he was asked what the meeting was about, McFarland noted that the purpose is to communicate the progress of ongoing projects, to create ideas and to encourage communication among vested businesses.
