Police are looking for someone who allegedly stole about 150 gallons of gas and then set off an explosive device in a mailbox at a rural Marshall County property Sunday. Marshall County Police think it happened between midnight and 2:00 a.m. in the 5300 block of Hawthorn Road. Officers say the gas was stolen from an above-ground fuel tank.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department at 574-936-3187. Indiana State Police and the United States Postal Service Police Department assisted at the scene.
