Two people have been arrested in connection with a recent break-in at a lake house near Plymouth. On May 18, Marshall County Police were called to the 15600 block of Cook Lake Trail, following reports of a theft. Officers believe numerous power tools from this site here along with electronics, fishing items, and boating items were taken.
A witness told police that a small blue Dodge pickup truck had been parked near the home. Officers say they were able to track down the truck’s owner and recover some of the stolen property at a South Bend pawn shop.
The two suspects, Brandon J. Szczechowski, 30, and Nicholas L. Cline, 29, both of South Bend, were reportedly found Tuesday at two different homes in Roseland. Marshall County Police say they were taken into custody without incident.
