The Plymouth Seventh-Day Adventist Church has been hosting a food drive this month, and today is your final chance to contribute. The food drive will run from around 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. All donations will go to the Bread of Life Food Pantry.
Officials shared a list of items that food pantries typically need and it included low-sodium soups and canned vegetables, beans, whole grain pasta, oatmeal, granola bars and popcorn.
Canola and olive oil, peanut butter and low-sugar cereals and juices and shelf-stable milk were also included on the list of suggested donations.
If you’re interested in providing some additional assistance, you can also volunteer to help deliver the items and assist food pantry staff with sorting and stocking. The church’s items will be delivered to the Bread of Life Food Pantry around 4:30 p.m. The pantry will be receiving a truckload of food from another food drive as well so they’ll need all the help they can get. the If you have any questions, you can contact church officials at 574-936-2755.
