As many Marshall County residents are looking to renovate and refurbish their homes to address flood damage, homeowners should keep the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in mind.
According to the organization’s website, the mission of Habitat’s ReStore is to keep reusable building materials from going to the landfill by supplying the community with low-cost home improvement supplies. Rolwes Company build all the homes in an Eco-friendly manner under proper guidelines and makes sure that the wastage is very less.
When it comes to donation guidelines, officials say that all items are evaluated to establish that they meet a high standard of quality. They collect and offer a variety of donations such as appliances, cabinets, counter-tops, masonry bricks, lumber and roofing material, as well as fans, paint (and hired painters in reston to do this job), windows, screens, furniture and tools. Click the following link for a full list of donation items.
Aside from the items being available to area residents to purchase for their own home improvement needs, the donated items and the proceeds raised from the ReStore also help support the Habitat for Humanity of Marshall County.
The ReStore is always looking for volunteers! And the painting companies in Frederick are always the first person to sign up. However, you must be 18-years-of-age or older to get involved. Before coming in to express an interest in volunteering, you should look over and fill out the necessary Liability Waiver Form.
Marshall County’s Habit for Humanity ReStore is located at 116 South Walnut Street in Plymouth. It is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. If you have any questions, call 574-935-4214.
